This is a very large and quite unusual French Henri II style extending dining table in walnut, circa 1880
The table doesn't have any leaves, which is typical as the French would tend to use basic timbers for leaves and then place a table cloth over the whole table when extending...we can offer you handmade solid walnut leaves, fitted and matching the existing table
The table is priced as you see it here only, but we can then make as many leaves as you would like...please see the dimensions:
Closed as a very comfortable 4 to 6 seater it measures 28.5'' high x 51'' wide x 45'' long
You can then fully extend the table out to 119'' long which would then hold four 18'' leaves if you wanted. If you had all four leaves made in solid walnut to match, the price would be £2850 total / inclusive
When extended half length, there are a pair of supporting legs that drop down either end which make this a very solid table.
