The top has that rarity of not only of having mellowed to a gentle honey tone but has excellent even colouring across all three leaves. Can easily be wheeled away when not in use. The buyer should expect imperfections such as shrinkage cracks/gaps, slight warping, repairs to structure and veneers, extinct woodworm holes and surface wear/marks/repairs that are consistent with age. These features are to be expected on genuine antiques and add to their character and historical honesty. It is quite usual also for handles, drawer bottoms/runners, feet and other component parts to be worn or replaced over the years. Unless otherwise stated there is unlikely to be a key and the locks may or may not exist/work. Please contact us before buying and we will send additional photos and do our best to describe the item honestly. Even better you are welcome to come and view the item before buying.
