Description

This antique pine kitchen table dates from c.1900. It is a nice old country piece in the farmhouse style. It is made from solid pine. The table has a planked top and a small drawer to one of the long sides which is a later addition. It is supported on square legs, and has two long stretchers running down the middle in between. The table came to us from an old cotswold farmhouse.

Condition: Overall this rustic piece is in usuable condition but does have some heavy wear consistent consistent with age and use. There is some heavy scuffing and wear to the woodwork as might be expected, and some marking and staining. The piece has some fading and discolouration. There are some areas of minor loss in places, including to the drawer handle. There is some quite significant signs of old woodworm damage - this is not active but has been retreated as a precaution. It does not affect the stability of the piece. The table is quite grubby and would benefit from a clean and polish. The top is slightly bowed. The drawer is a later addition.

The approx. measurements are as follows:
Overall - 70cm high, 81.5cm wide, 172cm long (to maximums).
