A finely carved Japanese Kibori Kuma, crafted from richly grained wood and depicting a bear mid-stride with a salmon clasped in its jaws. This expressive sculpture hails from Hokkaido, where such carvings became popular in the early 20th century as a fusion of indigenous Ainu artistry and Japanese folk tradition.
