Victorian Tunbridge Ware Writing Slope In Stunning Walnut.Super writing slope all complete and ready to use.
A burr Walnut box with very fine edge bands with battlement inlays and 3D blocks.
Circa.1860.
The inside has a red insert with 18ct gold decorative borders and corner motifs.
Both Inner flaps lift up for storage of papers etc.
Inside also contains a pair of inkwell’s pots with screw off lids.
Lift out pen compartments.
All brass work is functional and well maintained.
Superb front escutcheon plate and centre cartouche to top in M.O.P.
Fully working lock with one key and tassel for display.
There is no mistaking its unique quality and design, which is sure to make it a treasured piece by any discerning collector.
Excellent polish in very well-maintained condition with nice shine.

Items posted - Buyers have 14 days from receipt of an item to return it for refund, you must contact me within the 14 day period. A refund for the cost of the item will only be offered if the item is returned in its original condition and in the original packaging.
