A rare Victorian military helmet from the Eton rifles including its equally rare tin box. This type of helmet was designed in 1878 for volunteer regiments such as this one they were used up until WW1 when young men from Eton college volunteers took very heavy casualties the Jam sang of then with their song Eton Rifles in 1979.Shipping information
