Description

This pleasing and well detailed example of the Black Forest art of fine carving depicts the traditional bear in a good natural pose searching and prowling the forest floor. The carver has captured good movement which is enhanced with a natural expression and detailed features to the head and face. The eyes are inlaid with metal beads. In very good condition
