Silver Cased Perfume Body
Birmingham 1900
Silver and cork stopper.
Although the middle letter of the maker's mark is rubbed and illegible, I am sure the mark is A.W.P for Arthur William Pennington, Northampton Street, Birmingham later Augusta Street, Birmingham.
Approximate dimensions: height including stopper 144mm, diameter 52mm, weight 191.5 grams.
There are surface marks associated with normal use and age.
There is a shallow dent on either side of the vacant cartouche, one of which is too shallow show on the photos.
The glass has no chips or cracks.
There are no personal inscriptions with the cartouche being vacant.
