Edwardian
Leather Purse with Silver Trim.
Birmingham 1906.
Maker's mark for Frederick Wich, Leather Goods Manufacturer, Great Titchfield Street, London.
Inside leather is an unusual purple leather.
There are several pockets, including one for notes and a section for coins held with a metal catch. This catch has become detached on one side side but it is still functioning. Please see photos. Also one with a folding cover.
There are no silver marks on the chain carry handle but it cleaned up like silver.
Each silver trim on the corners are hallmarked.
There is wear especially where the leather folds but overall in very good condition for its age.
