This a delightful Meiji period lacquered shibayama plaque with hand gilded foliage and very pretty inlaid abalone shell and mother of pearl detail. The plaque has a lovely hand painted red lacquer frame which is in nice condition.The lacquer is in good order with a couple of minor marks to the edge of the frame but overall really good condition for its age. The plaque measures 35 cms by 17 cms overall including the frame.Insured UK delivery is 18
