Description

This is a very pretty hand painted set of four papier mache bowls with delightful detail and colours. The bowls are hand painted and gilded in the Kashmir style and date from the early 20th century. These show great skill in the intricate paintwork and are painted with images of the Bul Bul bird. We also have a large vase currently listed with the similar detail. The bowls measure 6 cms high and are 12 cms in diameter. The bowls are lined with brass inside and are in excellent condition.
