Description

This is a beautiful Chinese red lacquered wedding cabinet dating from the late 19th century / early 20th century. The rich red cabinet is in super condition and has an attractive good quality central brass lock plate and sliding bolt. The cabinet is profusely hand painted and gilded with traditional Chinese scenes and figures throughout and the condition is outstanding for the age of the piece. The cabinet has two large shelves to the interior and a large storage area beneath. The piece measures 120 cm wide 176 cm high by 55 cm deep.
