Description
This is a delightful pair of early 19th century French gilt mirrors in the Louis XVI style with their original gilding in really nice condition. The pretty mirrors date from around 1830 and are a very attractive Rococo design. The frames have the most wonderful patina with shades of bronze and verdigris throughout the original antique gilding.The mirror on the left has its original glass with charming aged appearance, the right side mirror with later replacement glass.
These are a nice size for any situation, measuring 52 cms by 32 cms wide.
