Offered for sale is this gentleman's 9ct gold Peerless wristwatch by Stauffer & Co. The white enamel dial with roman numerals has a subsidiary seconds dial. The 9ct gold case is 32mm wide. The hinged back is numbered inside 343194 and bears Glasgow import marks dating it to 1936. The lever movement keeps excellent time and is numbered 337290.

The watch is in excellent order for its age. The gold case has some minor scuffs which are only visible upon close inspection. The enamel dial has a very faint hairline which, again, is only visible very close up. The winding crown has some slight rubbing as per its age. The watch has been fitted with a good quality crocodile leather strap and buckle which are in very good order.
