Description

This is a very smart solid silver and cut glass claret jug by Lawrence R Wilson and Co. with marks for Sheffield. The pretty jug has a tapering shape with cross cut design to it and is very elegantly adorned with stylish silver rim, featuring horseshoe decoration and well modelled horses head to the lift up lid.

The claret jug is in excellent order and dates from the early part of this century. It stands 32 cms high and is 15 cms in diameter.
