Neat Antique Regency Pier Glass Mirror Reverse painted

Description
This is a rare pier glass mirror from the late Regency period with a reverse hand painted panel depiction of Napoleon in exile on St Helena. The mirror has its original gilding which has a wonderful Antique patina and is attractively rubbed with age. This has its original bevelled glass mirror in good useable condition and the painted panel has Napoleon stood outside the property on St Helena. The banner above reads “Bonapartes residence on St Helena 1816”This has nice petite proportions measuring 54 cms high by 34 cms wide by 6 cms deep at the cornice.
