Description

This delightful Victorian toleware tray has very vibrant golden, autumnal colours to the hand painted flowers and leaves. The design features wild roses on a bold black ground that really makes the colours very appealing.
The tray is a Dutch piece originally retailed by Jan J. Burgers emporium in Amsterdam and still has the remnants of their paper label to the reverse.
This measures 37 cms by 31 cms
