Description

This is a very attractive Savonorola Damascus hardwood armchair dating from around 1880. The back is carved with calligraphic panels and is beautifully inlaid with mother of pearl in a central star design. It has scroll arms and legs on bracket feet and it is decorated throughout with stunning carving and inlaid detail.The chair is in good sound order and has a lovely colour.
It is a good size standing 100 cms high 68 cms wide by 60 cms deep
