Description

This is a very pretty pair of 19th century French upholstered armchairs with lovely petite proportions dating from around 1890. The chairs have a solid beechwood hand carved frame with a dark green gesso and gilded highlights. They have a good curved shape and swept cabriole legs. These have been recently reupholstered in this really tasteful champagne gold and pale grey stripe fabric which elegantly suits the style of the chairs.
Comfortable to sit in, these have nice petite proportions measuring 80 cms high by only 66 cms wide and 66 cms deep.
