Description
This is a delightful Victorian Papier Mache writing slope in nice original condition dating from the mid 19th century circa 1850. The piece has a wonderful shape and is superbly embellished with inlaid mother of pearl pieces and hand painted decoration.This has its original lock and key and purple velvet lined interior in very good original condition.
A super example in lovely order.
The writing slope measures 13 cms high by 36 cms wide by 28 cms deep.
