Antique Needlework Alphabet Sampler 1817

Description
This is a delightful early 19th century alphabet sampler by Margrate Andrews Cromarty completed in 1817. The sampler is embroidered in wool and framed in its original frame. This showcases various stitching with alphabets and numbers as well as her family initials centrally. The embroidery is in good order overall with no holes or wear.This measures 38 cms by 24 cms overall including the frame and is in excellent condition.
