19th Century Antique Bronze of Recumbent Lion

Description
This is a wonderful quality, finely modelled bronze of a lion dating from around 1870. The very heavy French bronze is in a natural recumbent pose and stands upon verde antico marble base. This very handsome lion is quite a sizeable piece with a good impact in any room looking very imposing on a side cabinet or desk.The piece measures 35 cms in length overall 13 cms wide and 20 cms in height.
