Description

This is a stunning Japanese cloisonné vase with exquisite detail and fine wire work, very pretty colours and a great design. The vase is in perfect condition and is superbly enamelled. The birds are very realistically depicted in blossoming tree branches and in the air. The striking ground colour to the vase is this stunning deep blue which is in beautiful crisp clean condition with bold flower and foliage detail and pretty borders.

The vase is raised on a later carved hardwood stand that adds to the visual appeal of the piece.
A fine example of the cloisonné skills and craftsmanship from Japan dating around 1930.
The vase is a good size measuring 20 cms in height (23 cms on the stand) and 12 cms in diameter.
