Description

This is a most beautiful and very decorative Suzani tapestry or wall hanging dating from the early 20th Century. The piece originates from the region around Uzbekistan and is skilfully worked in colourful silks on a natural linen cloth. This embroidery is in excellent condition and would make a very pretty throw for a bed or sofa but would of course look wonderful as a wall hanging. It is a grand size measuring 220cms by 143cms.
