Description
This is a quite exceptional mid Victorian period Papier Mache jewellery box in superb condition dating from around 1860. The lid is beautifully inlaid in a mosaic design with tiny mother of pearl pieces surrounding a stunning central bunch of roses. The casket has a wonderful curved intricate shape and is hand painted and gilded throughout the piece. The box measures 30 cms by 30 cms by 6 cms high.UK insured delivery is £15
