Description

This is a antique French hand painted metalware container which dates from around 1890. This characterful two handled jug would have been used for olive oil and what is particularly attractive about it is its beautiful old paint finish. Shades of kingfisher blue and teal are both there and it is remarkable just how much paint has been retained. The vessel has a wooden base and measures 42 cms high 35 cms deep and is 44 cms wide overall, including the handles. A really attractive display piece
