Description
This is a most attractive 19th century woolwork sampler by Ada E Rayner aged 11 dating from September 15th 1869.The pictorial work has great charm with depiction of birds buildings and lakeside landscape in bold colours. The piece is signed and dated in embroidery. This is well framed in a good quality solid ebony frame with gilt inner slip that suits the work admirably. The piece is in super condition and measures by 36 cms by 36 cms.
