Description

Here we have a most glorious pair of carved solid oak angels of substantial scale, which date from the Arts and Crafts period. These very imposing angels are finely carved and have wonderful detail, the pair holding a scroll each and looking heavenward. The oak has a wonderful patina and a very nice warm hue to it. There are no losses and both are in excellent condition. The pair have come from a private Arts and Crafts collector and were originally sourced from a church in Leeds.
These are real statement pieces, each measuring 108 cms tall and they are 52 cms wide.
