Description

This is a beautiful large Chinese vase profusely decorated in the Famille Rose taste in perfect original condition. The vase dates from the early 20th century and retains good colour and condition, with panels of hand painted detail of birds, many in branches including pheasants and peacock as well as multi floral images of crysanthemum and peonys. The pastel colours are delightful and coordinate beautifully throughout the vase. The vase has handles of mythical beasts holding a flaming red coloured ball. This is in lovely crisp clean condition and is a very good size measuring 45 cms high and 22 cms in diameter.
