Japanese Meiji Hardwood Noh Mask

Description
This an interesting Japanese 'Noh' mask which dates from around 1890. The mask has inset glass eyes and is very well carved. Noh masks are used as part of the traditional Noh theatre performances in Japan, which have been performed since the 14th century.This is 25 cms in height and looks great as a wall hanging.
