Description

An absolute stunning Swiss hand carved group of dogs, a mother and her four puppy's all with their tiny original glass eyes.

The underside has the remainder of an original retail label showing "Lucerne", probably sold as a quality souvenir in this idyllic lake side town in central Switzerland.

Beautifully executed in excellent condition, measuring 9 1/2" x 4 7/8" x 4 1/4" tall. Victorian in era, around 1890.
