Description

Late 17th century country-made chest of drawers. It has a solid elm top, lovely figured walnut crossbanded drawer fronts, and oak sides. The brass handles and escutcheons are mid 18th century and have been on the chest for a long time. Of charming proportions, and having an excellent warm colour and undisturbed surface, this chest is a pretty piece of old country furniture.
