Description

A fine quality French antique porcelain and ormolu mantel clock of the finest quality. The porcelain plaques that make up the clock are signed and numbered. The painting of the porcelain is of outstanding quality and of the best seen at the end of the 19th century when this clock was made.
The ormolu is in mint condition The clock is of square form with Greek Key angle decoration, Gilt chains and swags, Blue porcelain Urn surmount. To the base have Lion Paw feet.
The dial with blue ground, Gilt decoration and fine cut hands. The clock is surmounted with a fine porcelain and ormolu urn,
Fine 8 day movement striking the hours and halves on a Gong with pendulum and key provided. Circa 1880.
This clock is without damage and in fully working order.
