A very fine quality 19th century French ormolu MANTEL CLOCK of impressive proportions and particularly finely cast details. The case is delightful, surmounted by three ormolu cherubs holding musical instruments with ormolu mounts, vines, leaves and scrolls below. It is mounted with porcelain numeral dial. This is a stunning Ormolu Bronze mantle clock in excellent condition
CASE
The clock case itself is in excellent condition as you can see by the pictures provided with solid cast Rococo case.
It is absolutely stunning to look at with no visible marks or damage, to me, gives a wonderful essence to the clock as a whole.
MOVEMENT
The movement is functional order and again fantastic condition therefor does not need servicing. and is signed. This movement strikes on a bell on every half and full hour. It also has its key and pendulum as you can see in the pictures provided.
The eight-day movement strikes hours and half-hours on a bell with silk suspension, Signed Vincenti, This clock is in in full working order. Guaranteed for one years. Height 19″ tall c.1850.
The Ormolu gilt finish is in stunning condition, Original without change and in very good order.
