Rare Original 17th Century Alms Poor Box With Original Ironware Lock Key.

Lovely primitive genuine mid 17th century church collection box with original hinges lock, key and iron carrying handle .

Wonderful piece. All original condition, untouched. Original key is present but worn, the iron lock is intact and working. Decorated banding to iron handle matches to the barrel of the key.

English or French circa 1650.

Measures 6 3/4" wide X 5 1/2" high X 8" deep including iron handle to rear.
