Description

Impressive and super quality walnut two tier trolley, raised on turned tapering columns and bold acanthus carved cabriole legs with large brass castors.

By repute, this trolley was part of a dining room suite made by Waring&Gillow for Count Von Ribbentrop, then the German Ambassador to the UK. Delivery couldn’t be completed, however, due to the Count’s sudden departure prior to the outbreak of World War II.

Width 33” (84cm) Depth 22” (56cm) Height 33” (84cm)

Condition and Details of Restoration

This trolley is in original untouched condition and is structurally sound. The polish has been revived, by our own craftsmen, by hand in the traditional manner. There are some minor old marks underneath the polish as might be expected on examples of this age, as can be seen from the photographs.
