A magnificent example of classic English furniture. This beautiful circa 1900 walnut half tester double bed features an ornate back, and swing our side arms to support decorative drapes. The headboard has an upholstered central panel which we have simply covered in a plain cream material, but on purchasing this bed, if you supply us with four square metres of your desired material, we can have the headboard padded and re-covered for you at no extra charge. The headboard is supported by large iron side rails, and the footboard is magnificently carved with a small bevel edged mirror to centre. This Victorian half tester bed is in lovely condition apart from a small amount of damage to one of the feet, and some wear and tear to the polish work. We are supplying this Victorian half tester bed with a newly made pine bed base, so all that is required is a standard double mattress. Please be aware that this Victorian half tester bed is an old piece of furniture, and will have some wear and tear due to use.
