An attractive George III eight day long case oak and mahogany clock featuring a painted dial, typical swan neck pediments to top, and some inlay work to the doors. As you can see from the photographs, there is a second hand missing from the dial, which we do have in our position. This George III long case clock has recently been removed from a local house clearance, and we are unsure whether it is a ‘runner’. It may need some restoration work. There is a small crack to the glass on the face, but it still retains its original weights and pendulum, so would not require a large amount of work to be carried out. This George III long case clock is ideal for any collector.
