Matched Pair Antique Cast Iron and Brass Pillar Grates by Philip Webb C 1870The original drawings for these designer grates are archived at the Victoria and Albert Museum. Another example of this grate is still part of the original interior of the former Dining room at No. 1 Palace Green an important studio House designed by Philip Webb for George Howard completed in 1870. Philip Webb also was very involved with the interior decorations along with William Morris and Edward Burne- Jones.
