Fabulous c19th Royal Naval Officer's Bicorn Hat
There is a black cockade on the right side with a twisted gold wire held in place with a gilt button with the King's crown over a fouled anchor.
There are gold wire decorations in the folds on the front and back points.
The edges are finished with black brocade featuring an continuous oakleaves & acorns design
The black japanned tin carrying box has a top handle, bottom clasp, and a mounted copper plaque inscribed with the name P. Pringle
The inside is lined with white silk and leather 'sweat band'
