A charming garden piece, this coade stone sculpture is of a young boy holding an amphora with a tree stump support at the back. It is very nicely weathered, with a blackish green colouring where it has been exposed, although lighter in colour above the base and pinkish in colour around the ‘modesty’ drape at the front. This is a nicely proportioned sculpture of a good size, with an attractive face and lovely detail in the curls and the well defined feet.

Dating to the 20th century, this is of coade stone and originates from the UK.

This is in good age-related condition with nice weathering.
