Description
A fine 18th century burr walnut and silver Bombe shaped tea chest.The cavetto moulded lid above a Bombe shaped body supported by ogee bracket feet.
The handle, impact buttons, escutcheon, lock and hinges are all solid silver. One handle back plate is stamped with the makers mark I.W
The tea chest is of excellent colour and quality.
English, circa 1760

Height: 15.5 (excluding handle)
Depth: 15.3cm
Condition: Excellent, minor losses to the bracket feet, age related marks, scratches etc
