English 19th Century Fabulous Antique Oak Cupboard

This is a wonderful, very good quality, English mid 19th century solid oak antique storage cupboard of large proportions. In excellent, clean condition and still the original lovely colour. An interesting design, having Anglo Japanese Aesthetic style glazed doors to the top with a pair of long doors beneath, these have raised and chamfered panels. Inside has pine removable shelves which are original, most probably a one off design, made for a specific house, on the inside of the doors is an old paper label with an inventory of items to be stored within the cupboard such as, tea clothes, nursery clothes and chamber clothes. This lovely English antique cupboard stands on a square plinth that has pierced clover leaf motifs to all three sides. Complete with a working lock and key and in superb condition throughout. Dates to 1850.
