Very Shapley Antique Walnut Armchair by FJ Mercer
A superb high quality solid walnut English antique open armchair by the Sheffield cabinet maker F J Mercer around 1850-60. A very good example and an ample, comfortable size, this English antique armchair has an upholstered back, seat and arms that are a lovely shape and the armchair stands well on equally shapely legs. In excellent condition, all very strong and complete with the makers paper label underneath. Interesting facts are available online regarding F.J Mercer and the cabinet maker business that he inherited.

We can arrange delivery throughout England, Wales and Scotland. If you would like a delivery quote, please contact us with your postcode and we will get back to you with a price. Delivery is usually within 10 working days.
Standard delivery is with a one man courier and it is a door to door service. If you require a two man courier, please let us know at the time of purchase.
Smaller items will be sent with a parcel courier. We wrap and book parcels in once a week on Thursdays. If you require an item quickly, please let us know and we can arrange this.
We can provide an overseas shipping service.

We offer a 14 day return service if you are not happy with the item. This is providing that items are returned within 14 days and are in the same condition that they left us in. The cost of returning the goods must be covered by you. We will refund you on the items return.
