Description
Magnificent William IV mahogany library bookcase in splendid Gothic fashion. With a turret top cornice, 2 glazed doors with lancet shaped astragal glazing and quatrefoil central roundels. The interior of the upper section boasts a spacious adjustable shelf interior.The base of the bookcase has two 'blind doors' each having stylish lancet shaped applied moldings and also has the most unusual feature to the plinth base, an inset map or deed compartment.
This beautiful bookcase which is of the highest quality materials , design and craftsmanship that to put it quite simply, has the poise of a race horse!
