Description

A stunning mantel clock in the classic antique French style. This was made in France & it dates from around the 1950’s period.

The quality is fabulous, it is beautifully constructed from kingwood & other various inlaid woods. This clock has canted corners & fine gilt metal mounts all over. At first glance, it looks like an 18th century clock, because of the shape & general look.

We have given this a good clean inside and out, it is in excellent condition for its age and is in good working order.

The original winding key comes with this it chimes every quarter hour with the Westminster quarters. Each hour is marked with a full set of chimes for whichever hour of the day it is.
