19th Century black forest cup and cover

Description
A 19th Century carved black forest cup and cover of exhibition quality carved in linden wood, the cup has intricately carved animal heads, birds and foliage and the cover is surmounted by an eagle with wings outstretched and has glass eyes, this was presented in 1892 to the rev John W Horsley, a larger than life Victorian preacher, this is a wonderful and well carved piece.9" Dia x 23" high.
