A coloured mezzotint after Rembrandt by Walter Alfred Cox 1862-1908.
An artists proof with printer imprint and signed by Cox. Walter Cox was a master print maker and specialised in reproducing mezzotints of Old Masters. This is in its original frame and bears the Boots label verso.(Boots supplied a framing service and artists materials from 1884).
