A beautiful oil painting on canvas by “Carlo Rossi” (1775-1849) Elegant Figures in a Romantic Garden Scene. Signed by the artist. and set in wonderful giltwood and gesso frames.

Carlo Rossi born in Naples to Gertrude Rossi who was a famous ballet dancer. Connected to the arts since being a child, he studied architecture with the help of Vincenzo Brenna and went on to design many famous buildings. Carlo was also a gifted artist of genre sceneswhich make this painting so attractive.
