an elegant 1920's floor lamp, lacquered in blue with a Chinoiserie design, there are as usual small losses to the lacquer but no loss to the overall effect of the lamp.
Lacquered lamps in this colour are becoming very difficult to find now and with the handmade silk shade really do create a wonderful look to all interior design projects, the shades are handmade by the girls who supply the TV programmes Downton Abbey and Mr Selfridge etc.

Another good decorators piece.
